what, no rota suggestions yet?
in the official mugen MF10 thread, someone put up a pic of a pos civic with some rota "mf10's". They look terrible and nothing like the authentic ones. Can spot it very easily.
The price of mf10's is a direct comparison to the rarity of them. Also the fact that they are not made anymore. Some people see value in this and some dont, and thats fine. But there is no way that the price of these rims is going down considering that production has ended and they are super rare to begin with. So with that said, some of us realize the true value and some could care less... to each their own I guess.

2700 USD a pop I believe

either way I love my rims and they aren't going down in value.

Back then the price was reasonable, I got my first set from RD Motorsports which was in partnership with King, then the wheels were damaged during a track event (not driven by me either)! So I got my buddy from Gruppe S to order a set from Japan for 1800USD with centre caps and lugs SHIPPED. To me it was hella price, and I have had 'em on the S ever since.
You can't get 'em new anyways, they were discontinued.
The new batch is for civics, not S2000 spec, correct me if I am wrong.
They are beautiful wheels, very stylish. The only down side is they are NOT BBK friendly at all. I used to run a 15mm spacer to run Spoon's lol
s2kobsession, the buyer wanted them a while back, I am sure by now he would have socred a set. He is from Hawaii and I have no clue how he found me since I stopped visiting the site for 2-3 yrs.

I think your correct, civic specs but there a "petition" for s2000 specs.. It's sad that people have to beg to spend money
Does this mean my discontinued Prodrive Gc-07's are going up in value??

it's like...
right now a brand new domestic car is everywhere. if one dealer isn't going to give you the price you want, another dealer is.
vs.
a brand new r8. there aren't any to be had, in fact they are on waiting list. so if someone has one new or near new for sale, he can sell it for however much someone is willing to pay.
I dunno though, JMHO.
Even if Mugen does make more, thats cool. It just means more people can enjoy them. But keep in mind that Mugen hasn't flooded the market with any of their products. Thats why their parts are sought after by so many, because of their rarity an exclusiveness. I think the most common authentic Mugen product is probably a rad cap or a brake resevoir cover. So if more wheels are made, they will still be rare because Mugen wouldn't sell out and screw over their existing loyal customers by flooding the market with remake mf10's. At least there is a date stamp on them so you know if you get the originals or remakes.
