wouldn't that same logic apply to berlina since if it does, then you'd wash it away to reveal a more lovable colour?

A beautiful BERLINA looks grey when dirty.. Water brings it back to BERLINA. Silver looks darker when dirty - therefore no water should be used to make it silver again....
