only things I find as a con:
1. 2 seats - can get annoyning
2. space - can't really carry too much. Truck is not big enough for anything bigger then the carry on suitcases
3. Maybe i'm just getting older - but sometimes I just want something a little more toned down. the longer I've had the car the more I've realized its more a weekend warrior then something you drive year round or even daily.

no problem w/ owning it whatsoever. I don't have a second car as backup in the summer (put the Golf on suspension). I have a bike, so that fits even less stuff - so the S is huge by comparison. I'm landscaping my backyard, and do feel the need for a bigger vehicle at times, but on the whole, it's perfect for what it is, a DD for summer.
GF never complains on the lack of space.

I recently just purchased a 2003 Black S2000. Should be picking it up this Wednesday. I seriously cannot wait to get it. Approximately 2 months ago, I decided to sell my rsx for the s2000. It took me a while to find a buyer for my rsx without taking a big hit in this economy, but I was able to find a home for the rsx.
It took me a while to find the right S2000. I wanted to find a Canadian car, clean title, accident free and a decent mileage on it. After a month of searching, I finally found it. I initially wanted the GPW as well, but no luck in finding a mint one.
2003 is definitely a good year since it's the last year of AP1. Do keep in mind that 2000-01 does not have rear glass window and that along is quite an expensive fix.

its a great ride, agree with CanadianKid said a few posts above (also funny about the accord board ) and everyone else post. The car demands respect, work your way into it slowly. With this car I have fallen more in love with each time I drive it. and for highway cruising its amazing too. Im seeing easily 8-9L/100km before the light comes on (around 450 usually when the light comes on with mixed city/highway driving) so the decent mileage is there if you need it. But even with a fair amount of VTEC im impressed. 91 octane - no ehtanol so that might have something to do with it.
Cargo, its not soo bad, tell your gf to pack light but its perfect for a weekend trip and if you get creative you can fit more (ie rear window shelf, etc) and the trunk can easily fit enough beer for a big party.
