Ok, a few things.
1) I like the use of the patterned background, but I think you should have another layer on top for content, with a white background. see here for example:
http://fork.de/ ... crazy background, but the content is very readable without having to be xlarge, bright pink
2) try using some type of sidebar on the left or right to hold "quicklinks" like featured tracks, important links, contact info, etc. I think I gave you this link before http://www.scottandrew.com/ (notice the use of white centre section on the blue bg ).
Also, see the "Tip Jar" in left sidebar here http://www.scottandrew.com/store/. If you download and mp3, you can leave a tip.
Finally, surf around the site, see how the downloads are organized. Forget about the "design" aspects. Just look at presentation of content and information architecture.
3) If you need a hand, pm me. Maybe I can set you up with a light weight CMS (content managment system) if the site if going to be updated regularly.... no cost involved, it's all open source stuff

You can spot a bassist a mile away.
Cory, I didn't catch your message before.. thanks. I like that site, but would like something a little cleaner, less stuff hitting you in the face. I'll let ya know when I have better idea of what I want.
