i'd have to for GC 0w30, ESPECIALLY in the winter. this is where you'll notice it the most.
you can look as me as the living proof of how synthetics can still protect missing 4L of oil
i'm SURE the story would have been much different if dino was used. although i wish dino was in the crank that night

I voted MObil-1 10W30 but i used 15W50 last time.
I don't think it really matters that much. None of us race our respective car so we will never get to the point where synthetic oil will make a difference, but to each their own.........

This is the German page for the RS oil, it's the best they make.

If you look really closely, the German 0w30 says it's certified for ACEA A3/B3/B4 and also the VW and Mercedes specs/designation. In Europe, things are backwards with oils, the actual car manufacturers TELL the oil companies how good the oil should be and what criteria it has to meet to achieve that car makers certification. It's up to the oil companies to meet these standards.. the VW and Mercedes ones are one of the toughest out there.
Dennis, I hang out on the oil board too.. Not too many people are as nuts as Patman when it comes to motor oil..

I used Amsiol 10W30 Synthetic Last season and i found it worked well without any oil consumption. I am planning to use it again this year. Isnt the Amsoil a full Synthetic?
