Oil Change @ Dealer
Why does the S2k oil change cost 2-3 times more than my Prelude?
It was a rediculous 74.99 + 15.00 labour for an oil change (also did the recall with this).
They said they use another type of oil, i didn't bother asking b/c i wouldn't know a word coming out of their mouth since they try to be technical with their customers.

Yep...you got taken unfortunately. Did my oil change with the TSB - total come out to about $30 (charged only for the oil change). They probably put in synthetic. I would ask them why it was so expensive.
BTW, which dealer...I will be sure to avoid them.

Arthur, I would call them and ask them why it was so expensive.
Stuff like this pisses me off...damn scammers . I still think all S2K members in the GTA should try and support 1 dealer so that we can have some leverage.

Nope, its not synthetic. According to the dealer, it is a "special" oil designed specifically for the S2000. At close to $6/litre, why would'nt you just buy synthetic?
