Default Official Toronto Night Cruise Thread

It's about time the Southern Ontario S2KI community have a thread like this
I'm not good with words so I'm going to make it brief

So the cruise can be as simple as driving in the backroads of Richmond Hill/Aurora, or showing off our beautiful cars in downtown Toronto
Mainpoint is:
Not everyone likes to drive a convertible alone under the blazing sun, smelling your own sweat while stuck in traffic eating dust
Why not take your car out for a spin at night, feel the late night breeze, and enjoy the (possibly beautiful) scenery with other S2K members?

Let's do a poll first and see what the majority of people prefer
I personally prefer Friday or Saturday bi/tri-weekly

If we gather enough interest, we can make up an official time and place to meet
Summer is short, let's try to make the most out of it!
Let the voting begin!

Im just saying, Im not leading more than 3 cars around city streets. Cruising city streets is too hard with more than that, but country roads are do-able. Voted though! Hopefully it will be more country roads than anything and I dont lead this time, I love being at the very back

Yeah true that
We can decide on what roads to take depending on the number of people
I know of some really good twisties in Richmond Hill and Aurora with no stop signs along the way
We can do that if we ever have a big group

I think it would be better to do backroad twisties during the weeknights, and leave the downtown cruises for the weekend. Voted anyways, I'm always down for a nice drive

I dont know if you've ever driven downtown, but the roads are busted as hell, not to mention all the street car tracks which are a bitch too.

Leave the cruising for the suburbs, downtown is not somewhere to go cruising.

I get what you mean
A couple members and I went for a cruise down there on Sunday night
Other than ripping it down on University avenue, it's pretty much a bumpy drive down there

We didn't see a single street car that night though, we went pretty late I guess

But yeah cruising uptown is better, I agree

I like it when you lead. Makes lots of room for playing catch up from the back.

If mike leads, we have to make a route with no left turns
