eBay can be your friend on used ones- I picked mine up on eBay for $200 USD complete- the exchange made it about $260.

good luck

Thanks for the tips Darcy. I've been checking eBay, s2ki and Kijiji and it's been tough to find. Norm reached out to me, so hopefully I pick his up when he takes it off.

I'd love to make the trip down to the dragon, but with a baby at home, my wife would kill me haha

I do have a friend who lives in Chicago and drives back once every few months, and has brought me plenty of parts, including a few modifry goodies. But looking at the price of the intake brand new, with the exchange rate, I'd prefer to get a used one.

I wanted to come out to the monthly meets this summer but timing just didn't work, so hopefully next summer.

Are you planning on getting it through a local source? Or order from the US? I'm considering picking up a hardtop next year, was thinking the only option would be to order it to the border, install it, and drive home.

Hmmm, maybe a better question is how much better is visibility on an OEM vs Mugen? I hate driving this car with the top up so a hardtop that has the same visibility would probably annoy me. I guess on the track it doesn't matter.

Headroom shouldnt be an issue. I'm 5'7" in a lowered bucket. Yay being short lol.

Im probably going to go with a RSG hardtop. I want a rollbar too so I can kill two birds with one stone and maybe they can work on the price. I'll have it shipped to Crossborderpickups in the US and have them bring it over.

Which rollbar are you getting? I'm 80% sure I'm going with the Hard Dog double diagonal with pretty much every option (harness bar, padding, etc.).

probably RSG double diagonal. It's a bit cheaper overall if you're getting the lowered harness bar and bulkhead. I was going to just buy the padding from Hard Dog. I think they are pretty similarly proportioned so I'm pretty sure I can make it work. If you go with RSG let me know and maybe we can see if they can to do a bit better on price for two (and a hardtop).

Is it just me or does it take forever to get this site to load up now, my internet has been slow lately but since the site change it has taken much longer to open this site. I know Nick mentioned all of the advertising, I think it is much worse from my experience.

I still can't figure some of this site out. There are some threads that show new posts but when I click on them there's nothing new. I don't really notice it being much slower though.

All the ads I definitely notice though. Annoying.
