Yea my company knows of 2 minor conviction tickets. I have two other that the insurance doesn't know about. My I insurance could be lower if I went for a company that makes me pay for winter months. I remember asking prices to my broker last year, either 330 and I can drop to storage rate of 15 whenever I wish or 230 gotta keep it year around. But because the car is stored from November to April I didn't find it useful.

I think that's just how the market is playing out. I agree to some extent but then again by all means I do hope people charge an arm and a leg for their cars so if / when the time comes for me I can do the same

Things are worth what people are willing to pay for though, and this year, judging by what I've heard so far, people are willing to pay a lot.

Granted.

Generally the way I judge prices is by looking at comparable listings since book value on these cars means little to nothing anymore.

If everyone prices an AP1 at 25k, people eventually gravitate to that price point. Essentially it's price gouging when supply is limited to what's available in the market and you don't want to buy a rotten car.

I just see it as a "I don't really want to sell this car so blow my socks off or I won't sell it" kind of price. Nobody really wants to sell their s2000 let's be honest here lol. But most people come to that time when life requires it...

Whatever it is that drives prices up, as a current owner, I'm okay with it

Combo 1)KBB and those type of sites that spit out a price on a car based on mileage and condition, second is dealer which uses 1) to determine price.

After that Private follows either or.

KBB and those companies have a lot of influence unfortunately. It's also the season, wait until these cars sit around for 6 months you'll see a few thousand come off
