On Friday I finally received my own bottle NXT and decided to test it on 2 cars.

I was not impressed with NXT for older clear coated cars pre 1990. I think this stuff is made for newer paints. The NXT left a dark hazing where the s100 , zaino other polymers would not. If you look closely you can see the dark "smearing" of the NXT, where the s100 side was "flawless" (even for a carnuba)





Overall, at this low level of detailing I think NXT is not the "be all, end all" as Meguiar's and the detailing industry are making it out to be.

I thought this could be the "go to stuff" in the winter, but I think s100 would suffice just as well.

On newer paint and clear coat, the NXT seemed to do no better than the s100.

So I'll leave it up to you to make your own decisions.

Interesting, I did a good wax/polish on my '93 impreza and it looked great.

I used #9 swirl remover and then I used NXT.

Here's a few pics.





I'm not sure if I'll stick with this stuff once I'm done or not, I'll have to see how it layers. I'm actually thinking of using mequires #20 (I think that's the number) as it's PURE wax with no cleaners. The NXT has a lot of cleaners in it.
