Default New England Road Trip

The New England region is discussing a trip to Nova Scotia July of next year. I ws just wondering if any members live in the area. If so, any guidance and or recomendations would be welcome.

I don't live there, but have been there - definitely recommend driving on the Cabot Trail.

I can't recall the name of the lodge we stayed at on the trail, but I think it was the Keltic Lodge....

Hi Marco. Is this the right club for that part of Canada? Do you have any members from the Maritime provinces?

I drove the Cabot Trail this past summer on Marco's recommendation. Needless to say I had a coathanger stuck in my mouth the whole way, while my girlfriend got some decent seat belt rash from all the twisties.

It would be on the top of my list if I was planning a trip out there.

I would recommend requesting a bunch of these travel brochures, they have a well layed out system of 'scenic trailways' to drive along the entire province with lots of great places to eat and stay.

Thanks Marco and Double SS. We will def look into the Cabot Trail. If any of your club members plan to be in the area in July, let us know over in New England. It would be great to meet up with some of you.

IIRC, I was mailed a brochure that has colour-coded roads. That whole area is really beautiful. I would also check out the Bay of Fundy.

Bill, there is no maritime province communities so this is as good as any.

I was thinking of going to out there next summer but not sure on timing. I don't have a street S2000 anyway otherwise I'd join you.
