Default Need tire help

Okay, basically I have 2 choices.

1) I can run RA-1's on my new 17's and just take them on the street and the track. I expect to get about 12,000km out of them from what I've heard/read.

2) I can run S03's or SP2's on my 17's, and run some serious shit on my 16's for the track, like RE55S's.

What would you guys do?

Please see #2 above...

Not only does this offer superior track performance, it keeps the nice 17" wheels cleaner and less marked up because track wheels take a cosmetic beating, in addition with street tires for street use if you should decide to take a bit of a road trip you can and not feel like you are just wasting your r-compounds. There are a bunch of other reasons, but these are the biggies.
