I got that second Razr for free with Rogers because I had $200 of hardware upgrade credit. They've revamped their hardware upgrade rules just recently - now the credit accumulates based on your monthly bill balance or something along those lines.
I'm on a corportate plan with Magna and I had never done a hardware upgrade through them for 7 years...I guess that's how I was able to get it for free.

I did one about a year ago, maybe that's why they're not to keen.. I'm reaming them on the phone right now.
They have no idea what retention means.. so I said.. go to bell, get free phone.. get it?

Buddy at my office is on his third Razr cause his friend works at Future Shop and takes care of him, but he's had different problems with each of em.
First one shut off on it's own all the time, sometimes while in use, sometimes not. Second one wouldn't hold a charge longer than about 8 or 9 hours. Third one that he is still using now has this REALLY annoying hum/buzz in the earpiece ALL the time whether you are on a call or not.
Maybe he's had bad luck, but I'm going to avoid the Razr

I'm too lazy to change carriers, I've had the same phone number for 17 years, I got another phone once and left this one active in a drawer for a while, but I came back.
Thanks though, I would have gave your bro biz otherwise.
It seems like hit or miss on the razr.. some people say it's the shit, others say it is shit..
I dunno, all the other phones look gay.. I have little doubt that if it gives me trouble, they will rue the day, I got the CSR manager to reccomend it to me, so I'll blame it on him
