Default Need a little wheel advice.

When i bought my ap1 it came with pretty much brand new tires so i decided to kill those before i get a new wheel setup. What i am having trouble on is deciding on what i want to do with my ap1 wheels in the mean time. I am litterally down for anything. I was thinking either flat black or a complete polish. Car is a my01 bb on red interior, honda symbols shaved, license plate holes shaved, s2000 symbols shaved and a recently acquired oem style cf hood. Car will be slammed on coilovers as well. Just a couple of pics of the car from last summer

I was thinking with a complete polish, slammed it would actually look pretty nice. I dont know just wanted some opinions.

btw my bb oem hood is for sale, pm if interested.

get them refinished in gunmetal black. i saw a pair awhile back on kijiji and they looked mean with the bb. then paint your calipers red to match the interior.

not a fan of polished rims except on luxury cars, OEM or gunmetal look slick.

Really can do almost anything with BB paint.

If you want to get creative it'd paint the "inlays" of the wheels satin black and leave the machined face and lip alone. I think that would look great (and less cheap) and actually make the 16'' wheel look bigger.

I also agree with Dom, a full polish wont suit the race car feel that the S owns. There are no "chrome" parts on our car (badges aside) that will flow with high polished wheels/

my 0.02

Chris

EDIT: Or go full satin black or satin gunmetal. That would look nice on your car too.

sell the stock rims and get spoons... U can use the same tires. You can also look for some rpf1's or volks etc etc etc. Too bad that kwasley doesn't have those enkeis' anymore. Kimbo, do you know the guy who bought them? can you ask if he wants to sell?
