Mikey,
check out the 2003 MDX's...260hp, navi, Vehicle Stability Program, AWD, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps etc....trust me it is sweet!
The MDX drives more like the TL-S does. Very car like and quiet yet handling is tight and sporty. The Pilot is more soft like an Accord 4dr. Both are very very car like.
If I could pay the extra $6k for the MDX over a Pilot, Id go MDX for sure. Can you say BLING BLING! Pilot is more family oriented than th MDX.
As for the TL-S dont get it because, i read(from another website), a completely new redesign for 2004 is on its way....
thats my $0.02
Good luck
Ian

I've got a 99 Pathfinder. Great truck, but thats what it is, a truck. You can only stuff so much sound deadening material in it. Its still loud on highways, eats a ton of gas, and is rough over speed bumps. Also too, the OEM size tires are a rare size that'll ocst you...think about that if you're planning to keep it a while. Also too, mine started developing a leak in the exhaust manifold already. WTF??

Thanks for the info, and gentle prodding
I've set it up as such..
If my guy will get me the MDX at less then 800 / month..then its a done deal.
If not, I'll get the TL Type S
I drove the Pilot, nice truck, but lacked that upscale feel I was going for, and felt very....truckish. If thats what I "REALLY" needed, I would go with that.
The numbers will be back Thursday.
He also mentioned insane deals on Audi's and is pricing out a model or two, I said, unless its an S8..I dont think you could sway me...but I dont know, these A4's any good, I hear a lot of bitching and moaning about them?? though he said if it sucks I could trade it back for a year, and it would cost me..like nothing..or something..my attention drifted.
We shall see.

Mike. I am eagerly awaiting your results.
I have hired another fellow and need to get him a car. He is also thinking MDX, but he also mentioned Audi. So if you can get some crazy deals, I'm in.
I definitely AM going to move on at least 1 car so for sure we can do a mini-group buy.
If you can get a deal on a G35 Infiniti my sister's looking to buy one too.
Hmm...we're up to like, 5 cars now????
PM me.

oh yes, my buddy has a TL-S and I've driven it extensively.
Nice, but in my mind, definitely not up to BMW in drivability (what I drive now).
Actually, nothing drives like a Bimmer. Not even the new Mercs. Although having driven the new CLK500, I'd say that's pretty sweet. $90 K though.
