i can't even believe you guys call it a truck!

I DON'T!!!

The Element is nice, but it is NOT a truck.
Just like my Titan is not a sportscar.

People who consider the Element a truck must have a serious hormone deficiency...

More AWD Minivan than truck, but I guess you could make a case for them being Minisuvs...

Great choice Ian.

Hope you're getting the 5-speed.

Element is the perfect compliment to the S2000. Hauls all kinds of crap, you can practically stand up in the damn thing.

Painted panels look good.

I want to see it when you get it.

PS I drove the Ridge and thought it felt sluggish. Don't know why.

That IS NOT something you will experience in a Titan...

Wow, the body looks like it has all new lines with those body panes now done in body color. Very nice looking.

Now, about those dorky step-up rails - for gosh sakes loose that crap! It's an Element it ain't like some steroid pumping 4x4 truck with a lift kit. Or did you wake up the other day unable to lift your foot more than 6" off the ground?

Doug,

It was surprising. At throttle tip in there is just nothing doing. Not until at least 3k or more on the tach did the motor wake up and get behind the weight of the truck.

After the drive, I couldn't imagine towing 5k lb with it.

Also, ride wasn't that great, but the truck I drove had 20" chrome jobs on it.

Overall, truck has great potential, but needs work - IMHO.
