I'll reach out and touch it when it can tow 7,000 pounds...

There is a lot of talk that some of the full-size trucks are going to get to market soon with alternate technology. For me I would love to see an electric motor assist on a truck. Electric motors have HUGE torque and huge torque and tow vehicles go hand in hand. The way I see it, too many people are going to drive their SUVs no matter what the gas price gets up to, so we just need to make these beast more fuel efficient.

I must admit, as far as fuel economy, I'm still very happy with my CRX-SiR. I can beat on that thing all day as my daily driver and it still turns out 28+ mpg in overall mileage. If I had to drive a lot of miles I would love to have an Insight.

normal driving i get about 10.5km/L:25mpg. with very little vtec i can easily get 12km/L:28mpg. on those 'practice' occasions i usually see 9km/L:21mpg. wow, so much choice

yeah i and i dunno why trucks aren't hybrid yet. it makes so much more sense for them to go this way since electric motors develop gobs of torque, but little hp.
