My anger has no bounds!
Oh man am I ING PISSED
If anyone has been following, I had a minor bit of damage caused to my valve cover when I took it in for the spark plug TSB. An impact driver had been used and they knick a bit of metal off of the cover. Me being a nice guy ( you who say otherwise say lets do this, repair it and powdercoat it instead of getting me a new one..too much time and money for such a small thing. They agree.
Well that was in July, parts had to be ordered (still don't know what) etc. Finally this Tuesday I took it in for the job.
Its now Friday, took quite a while for them to get to it I guess, but it got done, weather was shitty and I've been enjoying the Pilot anyhow. No big deal.
I get there and my car is clean...really clean. Interior, wheels dressed, carpets cleaned leather is perfect...and it was a bit messy when I took it in. I get out of the pilot and the one service guy comes running out and starts the conversation with VINCE I'M SO SORRY!!! I'm like ok whats the deal, I immediately start to look for the damage.
I tried to take a picture, but it just has too much shine to get a shot, and the crease is ever so small...maybe an inch and a half. They managed to put a crease in my drivers door about 4 inches in from the handle.
They got the pictures of the damage with a film camera (I'll do the same) and the service manager came out and said the same stuff, they will fix it, not sure what happend, never happen again. I let loose, said I love this car but you are making my ownership experience very difficult...its going to make me lose my temper and really do something up high about this very shortly. Fear of God and thunder rained forth from the skies.
Totally ruined my buzz over my valve cover.
Here are the pictures, looks friggin amazing.

I think I'll keep the car and dump the damn dealership!
I have no idea how they plan to fix this, but I'll get a new ing door totally before I let them do anything with Bondo! It might be something they can push out..but I doubt it highly due to it being a small crease. I'd say gentle crease but then I'm too pissed off for that.
Time to buy the porsche....

Hah yeah that is my ultimate answer.
Everything creases...but maybe they have mechanics that aren't dragging knuckles on the ground and waving tools at my automobile.
He will be pee'd on

Carrera GT won't crease - it's all carbon fiber.
Vince, sorry about the damage, man, I can't believe how they could it up like that. I'm amazed you didn't go postal on all their asses or turn into the incredible hulk and start busting shit up or something . . .
