i used to have a blue 2000 stang w/full saleen 351 conversion... quite the boat... but still... people knew to split the lane clear on the hwy when they saw that mean lookin thing coming....

is Saleen some aftermarket parts brand or is it another model of mustang? like the cobra...

Saleen is an aftermarket tuner, but I think you can get some of his parts installed at the dealer and thus retaining some kind of warranty.

I was pretty amazed at how many of these mustangs were not stock. Some guys went the tasteful route and poured their money in "go-fast" mods...much respect for that. Though others were pure cosmetics....squids. It must've been some car meet because I saw quite a few modded cars out that night (Sunday b4 Memorial Day.)

Yeah..Mustangs are cheap POS's up here. 0%financing for 60 months. $23k CDN for a V6 version. $30k for the GT convertable......

of course they, the mustang owners, dont know or admit that . . .

much repsect also to performance mods , , , i like power . . .

we had a recent toronto area mustang club vs toronto f-body club shootout at TMP - generally - we killed them . .

last year it was a sad massacre - something like 180 wins to 10

again though, there are some really nice ones out there - if i could just get over that supercharger whine on the new cobra it would be ok
