Default Mosport Victoria Day Weekend

Does anyone know what series are running in the 3-hr endurance race on Sunday evening? I'm intrigued as I've always wanted to watch a race at the Moss corner after dark, looks like this is my chance.

I think it will make for one hell of a long exposure shot once it gets dark. Imagine streaks of light outlining the Moss corner racing line. Hot damn.

It's called the Sundown GP. It will basically put a bunch of classes and series' together to run in this 3 hr race.

You can check here for more info: http://www.casc.on.ca/

I'll be going to the ALMS on Labour Day weekend for sure!

I don't think they did such a good job with stitching this photo. The exposure for the foreground looks correct but the background such as the sky is way off.

Unless you have two cameras and somehow sync the two shutters, you'll won't be able to get two pics that match up for stitching when you're probably going to leave ur shutter opened for 10 to 30 secs.

Actually I took those pictures a couple years back. I just took two random pictures and ghetto-stitched them together. That's why the exposure for the sky was way off and nothing lines up.

Come on, one of you photo-freak here should take some proper panoramic shots for us.

They're double-heading CASCAR with Grand-AM touring at Mosport this year. I'll probably go cause Labour Day is too damn far away.

I remember reading somewhere that Mosport was dropped from the original 2005 Speed Challenge schedule because of a timing conflict. It'd be a bummer, but SpeedGT hasn't really been the same since the 911 cars left the series. It's kind of boring to watch a whole field of Corvette and Vipers.
