Turn 2 is definitely a double apex turn. I can't see how it would be faster to take it as a single apex turn. Due to the layout and compression of the turn, it just makes sense to double apex it and trust me, if you get it right, you will feel it.
Turn 8 is a single apex, late turn-in turn. You basically enter from the 2/3 left and gradually bring it in late. Remember, 8 is important cuz it sets up for 9 then 10 and then the crucial straight, thus the later the better because it will position you properly for 9. I suppose double apex there is possible but i think single is faster. I "think" if you double apex it you will lose speed because its so high speed and after the first apex, it will pull you away from the track and the outside of that turn has tons of crap.
Good stuff guys!

I think its safe for you to return.
Dont hate on yourself like that.

no, not really....turn 2 is all about load transfer....
the S2000 drifts out 10 feet, and tucks back in 10 feet without touching the wheel.....a perfect arc....all on it's own....at good speed too.
of course this is all at double-apex speeds....i could not take 2 at the same speed using a single apex....i'd be in the weeds.
i could do it going slower, but that's not the point.

I donno if it really was faster or not, but for a turn that started with it ended with
