Mosport driving school?

Engineered Automotive and 6th gear do Mosport, not DDT. For the real Mosport track (aka GP), you want an instructor.
Calabogie is a joke compared to Mosport. It's one of the fastest and most challenging tracks in North America. No comparison.
I've run numerous times with both EA and 6th gear. I'm assuming your car is pretty close to stock and running street tires? Unless your name is Senna, trying to run with those boys on your first time there is a bad choice. You're gonna be watching your mirrors more than the track.
JRP is running 4 days at Mosport this year. $350, and they provide instructors. Also, the cars that show up are usually more in line with S2000's.
As for the rollbar, do you need it? No. But how much do you value your life? I see at least 3-4 cars a year that get totalled. Cornering speeds are high, lots of blind turns, elevation changes, and minimal run off. I almost rolled last year when 2 wheel studs sheared off at the apex of corner 3. Thank god it was one of the slower turns. The wheel flew off at around 140kph coming off the apex.

hmmm yah 6th and automotive engineering are pushing $1000. Apex is $550 or $650.
I see JRP is going to mosport in may but I can't find any info on training or registration.
Damn, wish I didn't miss this BMW day.
Actually I think something by driveteq in May is coming up for about $450.
