Default Mosport driving school?

Any recommendations? Seems expensive compared to calabogie. Like over $600+? I'm experienced at calabogie and wanted some instruction for mosport. Do I need a rollbar?

I see engineered automotive and 6th gear coming up. Maybe porsche club?

Looks like engineered autmotive is $550 for the day + $550 for an instructor for the day.

Waste of money. A buddy of mine went and did it who has zero track experience and he said the instructor just rode with him and didn't say shit. Just go on a lapping day and test it out for yourself

Mosport big track or DDT?

The two tracks are vastly different. For the big track you need a rollbar (for most organizers) and an instructor is a good idea

Sounds like a shitty instructor who was just there for the free track time. For Mosport big track I would highly recommend an instructor (who knows what he is doing). On the DDT I don't feel it's necessary

Those prices are a rip off. I've done the BMW Trillium weekend (Sat + Sun) on the big track for ~$550 including instructor with radio ear pieces so you can actually hear them. I found the instruction valuable. No roll cage needed though they require an inspection (at the garage of your choice) which will set you back a bit more.

What type of inspection?

It's just a general mechanical inspection that your car runs ok. Needs to be signed off by a licensed mechanic. Cost about $100 or less.

I'm hoping for big track just to say I've been to big track I guess? If DDT is fun I'm all up for that too. hmmm but I don't have a rollbar.
