Back you vultures, back! Let he who has never committed a no-show or backed out of some sort of group venture throw the first stone! It is a well know fact that Lesley does not drive in the rain, and that is usually a given stipulation to any of her plans involving driving (the "other plans" excuses I don't really buy into). Does this make Lesley less than 100% reliable when it comes to the group drives? Certainly. But is she less reliable than everyone else in and around the Toronto gang?
When I came up to Toronto to see Lesley and hang out with the 12 or so s2ker's that I had met through this board (most of whom confirmed to meet at a car show while I was there), only 3 actually came out! And that's not just for the car show, that was the entire trip! LoL

I can't comment for others but she gave no stipulation of rain or shine. I don't remember ever hearing about her lack of rain driving.
If we would have known that then we wouldn't have gone against the almanac (which was right again) and waited.
I posted that info with knowledge of its impending dampness but I didn't know that would carry into different areas.

I however never knew this until just today, therefore this "well known fact" was obviously lost in obscurity.The one thing for sure is it was obviously going to be a damp and rainy day when we woke on Saturday AM. Now we know, if it is raining Lesley is not likely to show. Thanks bryons2000 for the insight.
