LE607 is a straight 90 weight oil, imo it's too thick imo for our climate, especially those that drive the car in the winter.

I see.
I park the car usually from Nov/Dec till Mar/Apr so I'm usually not driving the car in super cold weather. Weather up there isn't too much different from what we have here ....

I only have 11,000 miles on my car and debating on either sticking with the oem fluid, or going to a synthetic.

You should definitely go synthetic, or something like LE607.
I'm still a little sceptical on using the straight 90 when it hits below 10 deg C.. but the only way you can verify if any damage is being done is by analysis. I don't drive in the winter either but I do drive when it gets cold, so to be safe I stick with a synthetic 75W-90 like Amsoil.

Mocky, you still on factory fill? If so that should have been changed much earlier

Cant do wrong with synthetic in the diff...the OEM Honda stuff in the US is the same as the motorcycle fluid i believe. Probably the same price as a qt of Synth anyways.
