Plus I'm sure you can put a GT wing on and maybe some neon to make it more to your liking
Don't slam it...lowers the value of the property!

when prices drop, rates go up..........at the end of the day, you can still only afford the SAME house......
if i got my house for $50K cheaper, but the rate was 2.0% higher, my payments would be the same.
if the housing market tanks, rates will rise by 2%.....easily.............

So if I buy my house now for 50K over. And then my rates change (upward) what do I do then?
Keep in mind however there are so many factors involved here and so many different mortgage plans but I'm just bring out a simple example here.

now (ie. high pricing) is only bad for 'FIRST TIME' home buyers and even then it's still not too bad to go for it.
timing is EVERYTHING when buying and/or selling a house.
rates are the most important factor. now that rates are so low, buy now, and take advantage of your credit ability. save tonnes over the long run....tonnes...
housing prices do NOT shift in proportion to rate changes though there is an eventual correlation between the two, nor do they necessarily occur during the same time period.
if you had bought when the rates had FIRST started dropping, you would have still been able to take advantage of lower house prices, however, prices have skyrocketed, but are currently dropping slightly.
It is still advantageous to buy.
(and no, I'm not a real estate agent nor a banker)

I dunno man... I think I'm gonna just find a winter car and call it quits... late 80's early 90's jeep YJ for around $3000 or so...
Maybe one of those big ass CJ-7's... heheheh
I know exactly what's gonna happen... I'll strip it, lift it, monster mudders, killer system, sweet paint job and an LS1...
