Might be moving from vancouver to TO, how do S2Ks handle the weather?
1st post on this forum, currently driving this, but looking to sell it soon.
I've never actually driven or been in an s2000 but i've been in a pretty modded type R and really like them so I figure the s2k is like a faster type R? Would that be an accurate statement?
I've never lived in TO, but I'm wondering if the s2ks are completely impractical or whether they are actually ok in the winter =
Or am i better off just getting a wrx for all seasons, too bad it's not as purdy.

if you had a hot hatch... you would find s2k very impractical...
just try to imagine yourself driving your GTI daily with only front seats... you can't put anything at the back ... maybe a travel bag in the trunk.. that's about it... if you can live with that.. you are good to go..
Type R handles very differently over S2k.. FWD vs RWD... no matter how you mod it... it's still different...
i can tell you this.. i had a MK4 Jetta VR6 before this car... and i can honestly say... you will be glad you got the s2k..
1.8T with a chip would be faster than stock s2k on straight.. but not on a track... remember.. this is a track car.. not a straight line car...
time to make this into a VW photo thread... hehe
