Default Michelin Brake Dust Repeller

Is this the stuff James has been working on for the last 2 years? It's getting good reviews at the auto detail forums apparently.

Michelin Brake Dust Repellent
This patent-pending technology forms a thin, repellent film on wheels and other surfaces that inhibits the deposition (and attachment) of brake dust, road grime and other soils to vehicle surfaces.

Michelin Brake Dust Repellent is delivered to a clean wheel, allowed to wet the surface and wiped dry to a thin, streak-free film. When sprayed, a light foam will develop on the wheel and the foam will begin to break with an effervescent character. When the foam breaks, the repellent layer is forming to protect your wheels and keep them looking cleaner, longer.

Application of Michelin Brake Dust repellent will also make subsequent cleaning of wheels easier as the brake dust and road grime does not get a chance to attach to your valuable wheels.

Good job James.

It doesn't stick to the wheel so just gets blown off in the air turbulence.

Canadian Tire.....Yes, it is the stuff I've been working on.

Basically it coats the wheel with a sheild so as long as there is windflow, dust (and brake dust, dirt, etc.) does not settle. Not only does it reduce brake dust, but it makes wheels easier to clean as well.

It's also biodegradable and won't break down the compound of the tire, as other cleaners/tire treatment stuff will.
