Default maybe a hot car, but no ones biting....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=4576284658

The auctions been going on for 4 days and this Z06 has piled up a total of ZERO bids.

I guess people dont want to pay a premium for a car that will be mass produced 1 trillion fold. Doesnt make it a poor or uninteresting car, but their abundance will make it ho hum, nothing special.

The lack of EBay interest supports that.

Hell, you'd pay a US$10k premium for a S2000 2 weeks before it launched off of a US$32K base.

There is a long list of ppl with MSRP orders at every dealer, but there is apparently no one willing to pay a premium to purchase this car on EBay.

Special cars get premiums to MSRP from the ppl who need that car right away.

Seems like no one needs a C6 Z06 right away.

the only thing this indicates is that people KNOW they can have it at MSRP (in the least), if not cheaper in a few months.....

that and 1/2 of north america is facing winter in 2 months....

and i hadn't heard of anyone paying a $10K premium on an S2000 back in '99.

Oh yeah - on top of it a CDN can buy this car, have it right now, and it looks to me that all said and done, its CHEAPER than buying a CDN car from a dealer (assuming that it sells for the 1st bid price, if there is a bid that is)...Still no bids.

In line at Roy Foss for a new Z06? Why bother, have it now for less.

What no takers?

J/K - I do find it odd though that this great car has no bids so far.

Would you have noticed? You were driving around a pink mustang thinking that the wheel was invented to be powered by a V8. Or did you have the 6?
