actually, if you watch,

button was able to pull on raikkonnen and hold off barichello while they were running.

he was also able to hold on ralf.

that is impressive for honda!!

he was indeed matching montoya's latter pace...but not his early pace!

when Jenson Button starts turning "fastest laps of races" then I'll believe he deserves podium finishes instead of "inheriting them"

Okay, I'll weigh in... I too stayed up and watched both qualifying and the race early morning. I mean after all, how could I have slept???

Michael is amazing, Rubens is a great teammate for him and Ferrari looks great again this year. Very cool.

And to those who think Ferrari is bad for the sport, I just have to say I completely disagree with you. In fact consider this for a second - if it were not Ferrari or any other dominating team for that matter, where would the sport of F1 be? I'll tell you where it would be, it would be no where close to where it is today, the cars would be slower and the technology would not be so advanced. Even if you don't like Ferrari you have got to see the bigger picture - Ferrari is pushing every single team, Ferrari is making people work harder so they can be competitive. Ferrari is advancing the sport because the other teams have to work harder. Thank you Ferrari, you are making my favorite sport even more amazing!

Okay, I'll hand it to ya, BAR Honda did rather well. I'm impressed the Honda is turning 19,000 revs while other teams have obviously turned down the wick as a solution to the one engine rule. And I have to admit, Simon you are right on when you say BAR seems to be putting JV's old salary to good use.

I'm pleased Jenson finally got onto the podium, but I have to admit, the main reason I'm happy about that is because he is now the faster Brit; all the more proof David C. should just go get his rocking chair now...

Renault 14 points, Williams 17 and Ferrari 33. My support to Renault will not decline, I think they are clearly going to show they can be part of that exclusive group knows as the best of the rest.

I felt bad for Alonso during qualifying, that spin changed his entire weekend. Starting from the back of the pack in the race and getting up to 7th place is no small accomplishment. I can only imagine how the complexion of the race would have changed had he been able to start closer to the front.

1. M.SCHUMACHER, Ferrari, 1h31'07"490
2. MONTOYA, Williams BMW, + 0'05"022
3. BUTTON, BAR Honda. + 0'11"568
4. BARRICHELLO, Ferrari, + 0'13"616
5. TRULLI, Renault, + 0'37"360
6. COULTHARD, McLaren Mercedes, + 0'53"098
7. ALONSO, Renault, + 1'07"877
8. MASSA, Sauber Petronas, 1 lap(s)

Now the interesting question, will the heat and humidity of Bahrain be the demise of several engines? It will be even hotter in Bahrain than it was at Sepang.
