Yes Marco, it was even better when we found out just what a crappy week it was up here.
Mannn, this is why I still don't fully trust digital to faithfully reproduce what my eye sees. The scan of the slides to cd are rather low res, leaving the colour saturation less than perfect. I would never print anything larger that 5X7 with these jpg files, but for an extra $2.00 a roll, I thought what the hell. It does makes quick review of the slides a little easier. The other issue is what looks good on one monitor may be too cyan or yellow etc on another. On my screen the double yellow tube sponge is over exposed after your adjustment, and the hairy looking coral now has a distinct yellow cast. I can appreciate the easy of manipulation with digital, but I don't always like the results. I'm still a fan of wet chemistry, showing my age I guess.
The enlargements I'm doing will be done from the original 35mm slides, perhaps with 4X5 internegs.
