Default LSD additive?

hey guys, I just brought my s2k out this weed and I'm changing all the fluids. I picked up some Castrol 75w90 synthetic gear oil for the diff. is this good enough? and also do I need any LSD additive to add to the gear oil? oh and what oil do you recomend for the tranny? My s2k does see a fair bit of track time and I want the best protection available so any suggestions are much appreciated.

if you track alot, go with a thicker oil, like Amsoil 75w110

good enough or extra protection. Good enough will be castrol, extra protection for prolonged period of track use, Amsoil.

If you have a stock diff, get a diff fluid that's Hypoid LSD friendly. Which the Castrol should be.

No. I store my s2000 once the temp. drops below 10 degrees. or the first sight of flurries which ever comes first. I dreames about being able to own an s2000 since the first one came out, now that I own my one of dream cars I'm keeping it in the best shape possible.

I picked up castrol syn 75/90 which is hypoid fine it says...however Im going with motul instead which is a little more pricey but hopefully worth it. GL4 and GL5 approved - which to my understanding is the additive package which is important.

Honda has a 80w/90 hypoid gear oil which may be decent as well at a lower price point.

I just put in the revised honda mtf and its excellent. In -5 weather it shifts beautifully right from the get go. what mtf are you on now?
