Looking for a clutch kit
hi,
im gathering parts over the winter.
my clutch is original that came with car and i do have the clutch buZZzzzZZ
its still grabs, but i think its time.
asianparts.ca has 20% off today - this is the FCC branded one and google says fcc is oem; but so is that sach's kit
found this place from germanparts.ca, seems to be the asian cousin site
any suggestions? any deals?
also looking at the science of speed flywheel..

Order the Sach kit from RockAuto.com and go to the dealership and get an OEM Honda throw out bearing. The Sach kit from RockAuto has the OEM Honda pressure plate and clutch disk but a generic TOB as far as my research and personal knowledge goes. Maybe someone can confirm the TOB for me. If you zoom in on the photo on RockAuto you can see Sach is the manufacturer and FCC is just a manufacturing stamp during assembly, it literally says HONDA on the clutch disk if you look hard enough too.
SACHS K7031001 - $454.97

Also, you can risk using the TOB/release bearing provided in the kit but as Billman has mentioned, and I too have seen, the OEM TOB can easily last 250k+ whereas most if not all aftermarket TOB/release bearings fail 20-40k in from the grease seal splitting and puking all it's grease out.
The last thing you want to do is pull the trans out again for something like this.
