I have a Garmin 2610 and love it, rarely fails me. Works great.

The only issue is sometimes you want to gut punch the talking chick, but you can shut her off.

Way faster response than the old crap ones like Bioboinker has.

yah.. that voice is annoying...

not sure if there is a way... can we turn the volume down on that unit?

^ yup.. just press and hold the speak button, then a left tab appears, simply click down to the desired level and she'll to a lowly groan

Thanks guys. This is great stuff. It looks like Vince and Simon have the same unit and both like it a lot.
James, thanks for the link. I now have 2 specialty GPS stores to visit here in town.
