Well, I ended up buying the Apple Airport Express.
AMAZING little thing. I was a little nervous after reading on the net about trouble with Windows XP SPII equipped computers. It took me all of 2 minutes to set up. Perhaps it has new firmware since these complaints came out..
I plugged the airport into the wall, and cables into my AV receiver. My computer instantly detected it as a wireless network and connected to it. I open iTunes, turn the speakers from "computer" to "apple base station" and VOILA. It works! I didn't have to use any of the software it came with.
2 thumbs up!! $159 at best buy
