As mentioned earlier by Steve, Lewis wouldn't have won without that pass on glock in the last corner

The race didn't come alive until the last half dozen laps or so, story of the season, record the races and flick through at review speed watching only the good bits at normal pace.

But coming in 5th and still winning is pretty BS!
How is coming in 5th and still winning the WDC bullshit? there's 18 races, they collect points for each race you know.

^ Yeah it's a point based championship, that's how racing works

I've never been on the edge of my seat as much as I was during the last 5 laps of this race. Incredible season.

For those that think F1 has gone downhill, I'm not sure I understand your point of reference. I agree that the politics and money are BS, but the racing is better than it has been in YEARS! The championship was decided on the last lap of the season, that's much more interesting than being decided completely half way through the season.

I think they need to leave the damn rules alone already.

I didn't catch the race, only a couple of youtube vids. The one glaring thing that stood out for me was to never to celebrate too early. You should have seen the face on Massa's father...

For sure a thank you to Glock is needed..that was so rigged glock was 15 seconds ahead with 5 corners remaining and he managed to drop from 4th to 6th...Incredible championship should have gone to MASSA the end..

And Massa wouldn't have won (if he HAD won) had the FIA not handed him the race win in Spa and the extra point in Fuji.

Re: the star article, Massa won 5 races + 1 freebie gift. LH crossed the line first 6 times and had one stolen.

Get the facts straight

Re: Glock. The guy had a lap faster than his teammate on the last lap. When you've drove in a race (any race) with slicks on in pouring rain, you'll realise what it's like.

Before anyone bitches about the points system, do realise that the current points system was put into place after Ferrari OWNED the opposition in 2002. Schumacher had that championship by Magny Cours, which is usually held in early August.

So in a sense, the Ferrari dominance caused the new points system
