Default Lets get together for some good food!

I'm so craving some good chinese food, but i lost my insider

How about a chinese seafood night? One of those places where they don't speak a word of english, the staff is grumpy and throw the dishes on the table, but the food is to die for. I need to find another seafood junky to hang with.

...and maybe Nimesh can take us to an indian place some day. That would be cool.

What other cultures do we have on this board?

How about some good sushi place recomendations? ...or Ethiopian food?

There's an amazing sushi place on King East called Hiro sushi. Sit at the sushi table and get the omakase (tasting menu). Hiro will make up a menu on the fly by gauging your reaction to the sushi he starts you with. Really great experience. Very creative combinations of smoked and cured fish as well...very delicately done so it doesn't overpower the flavour of the fish.

I've never tried Malaysian food. Shane, what type of food is it? Is it similar to chinese, thai, etc?

How long ago did you go? It's been absolute crap in the last few years since the change in management a few years back. Best place right now is Restoran Malaysia at Bayview/Major Mac. The decor is kinda ghetto but the food more than makes up for it.
