But I like a challenge.
Well you found one because it will take a lot longer to change Honda Canada/USA than it will to change a dealer or two.....

Mike/Vince,
Denise has been bugging me to paint the house. I wanna hire you two guys to do it. I will pay you $20 over cost each (you won't have to split it because I am generous ), I will provide the supplies, if you damage my house - you will have Denise's wrath to deal with and if you do a good job, I might get you two to cut my grass all summer for $5 over.
When can I expect you? Oh and when your done, let me know because I want you to take me out for a few rounds of beer.
Thanks!!!

Mindcore,
your first post was well stated....
and you are right...my friend works in the corporate finance department of a "luxury" auto brand and said that dealers cover their entire cost within the first 6 months on service income alone.
Bottom line is...Honda isn't going to offer an S2000 owner "better" service then their commodity service to Civix Dx owners, they just can't do it. So even though you have the "flagship" you are in the same boat as the person with the $10,000 civic when waiting in line at the service bay.
If you want Mercedes service, you could have bought that shitty A series and then been treated like a king at the dealer (although all the other MB owners would be laughing at your car).
Honda has positioned itself to provide for "Bob, Dick & Jane Smith" who can drive their cookie cutter cars to their cookie cutter homes and don't expect much else. The S2000 is really just a different look to put into their showroom for a couple of years plaster an over MSRP price on it to see who will bite.
FYI- I have had great service at Community Honda in Orland Park, IL; even though they have not bent over backwards for me on anything they have been reliable and have delivered a quality product on time, which is all I can ask for.
PS- I hear Saturn has great service if you want to trade the S in!!
