Beach, yes that was me in the Maxima. me fast? no way, I'm slow, it just a family car. I should have looked for you and said hello...oh well next time.
Glad you liked it, so will I see a silver S2000 next year? You have to experience it when it's nice and warm and of course dry.
Glad you kept the sunny side up, way too much carnage this weekend. Did you notice most of the carnage was in the Advanced group, too many big egos in that group, glad mine wasn't one of them.
I watched the Blue E36 punt the wall out of Turn 1 in front of me and then on the same lap at Turn 10 I gave the signal to a E30M3 to pass only to watch him sping and kiss the wall, minimal damage.
That guy you mentioned who spun in 5B, he's from NYC, he flew in from Sweden, slept 4 hours, drove up to Mosport. When I talked to him after the morning saftey meeting, that is what he told me. I told him to take it easy because of the conditions and him being tired. Then his first session out he crashes, damn that hurts. Too bad, really nice guy, at least he wasn't hurt.
To everyone else, don't let these stories turn you off of Mosport. It's not the track, it's the driver, it was extremely slick as it was very cold and wet, the people who crashed just didn't adapt to the conditions.

The BMW school is $401.25 and for Saturday and Sunday for C and B groups. A groups have an optional Friday at an extra cost. You also have to be a club member for about $50 a year.
It's an excellent school and I highly recommended it for everyone. There are a wide range of people and it suits all of them.
