Default Kpro + AP1 S2000 - Driveclean?

Hello!

I'm at a crossroads as to what i do for management on my AP1.
To anyone running Kpro with their AP1, how did Ontario emissions testing go?

I know this has been asked before, but a search didn't yield a definitive answer to my one questions. Some said "yeah i passed! no problem", others have said "nah, the test computer shut off and kicked me for tampered ECU"...which adds to my doubt.

I know functionally kpro with ap1 will pass, but wondering if the car reading as an RSX would matter in Ontario. I know kpro gives me the ability to change the VIN to match my car, but wondering if the testing device cares that the car model does not match.

Thanks for the time and help guys!

Even though some people might say Kpro on AP1 will pass Etest I can speak from experience it will not mainly due to the fact the computer is from an RSX and the ministry can request to go live at any time during E-Test. Trust me you have to get creative.

did they tell you why? Because ecu doesn’t match the car?

because it showed two readiness monitors as "not supported" that are supported by the 2005 oem ecu :
Air pump
Secondary o2

bam this is what i need to hear.
thanks for the feedback, and the MOST definitive answer i've heard that makes total sense.

looks like i'll be running a standalone and swapping back to stock ECU when the time comes.

cheers
