Phil - your never too "young" to live your life! you only get one - you might as well live it until the wheels fall off!!!

revmatch - lol good for you. I take it you seen the american car industry would eventually be in peril.

holeecow - that sounds like potential for crashing one of those wild univ parties! lol

freshjive - r&d for which industry?

that's pretty cool though, some diversity through each industry. The IT thing was something I considered doing, but I could never become an engineer. all the power to you!

I take it the bankers must have some advice for this rough recession we've entered?

Just keep reinvesting into the market. Were all young and we have time as our friends. Remember when RIMM @ 120 & AAPL @ 177 YUM @ 36 just to name a few and we all were hoping to buy it at 20% lower price. Most stocks now are down 50-60% and IMO it's a good time to buy some.

People forget about their goals when it comes to bear market investing. It's about long term growth 5-10years not short term growth 6-15 months. You'll be one happy person whenever this market return back to normal.

That's good advice Nate.

You're right people do become short-sighted and forget about the long term growth...
