Interesting little story....
Ok.......I could not believe this when I heard it.........
My dad had the computer guy (geek squad) over to fix his computer last night........After he was done he tells my dad about this one home he visited to perform some repairs.........
It was an asian family and when the door was answered.......the geek squad guy was told that they do not do business with "round eyes".......
Do you believe that crap? blows my mind......

Yes, discrimination does happen the other way around sometimes.
I heard about an ethnic doctor (that a friend who is a nurse told me about) who would bump people from his own ethnic background ahead of "round eyes" and when she confronted him she was told off. Unfortunately, this reverse discrimination is tolerated, and it shouldn't be, just as any discrimination shouldn't be tolerated in society.

im glad i was brought up in a home that respected all cultures and such, cause if you have a home that has old school parents sometimes it rubs off on you and this is how racism etc gets passed on.....

My folks are tolerant of pretty much everything but one place we differ in opinion is gay marriage. They don't have any negative opinions about homosexuality, but they just think that marriage is for a man and a woman. My mom seems to think it takes something away from traditional marriages, but I don't see why gay marriage would de-value hetero marriage.
