i've called before and asked (when i was still in school), you are allowed to purchase insurance w/ them even though you may not get as big of a discount as an alumni...

depending on the value and/or age of your car, i'd ditch collision coverage too......

you're only gonna be without coverage if it's YOUR FAULT.....a not-at-fault collision will still be covered...

i'm gonna take it off the BMW once my renewal hits in april. hell, i may even take it off the honda soon....

check your policy...generally, it's between 40-60% of your premium.

Yes I asked how much would I save if I took collision off, and it was $100 and change. Like $10 a month.
