Injectors
I am looking to buy a set of injectors for my S. A friend has a BNIB set of ID1000 injectors with PNP clips for a K series motor. Does anyone know whether those will fit my 2004 S2000?

I am sure. It also appears that the injectors you posted are the same. One has a top hat with a lower spacer and the other has a lower hat. The core injector is the same.
48mm body
Basic injector with 11mm top seals.
Same with 14mm top seals.
60mm body with the addition of the hats.
Now with a top hat using 11mm seals:
Top hat for 14mm seals:
For Denso bottom cushions and the like, the bottom black plastic piece gets cut off. Here is how the injectors came configured for my SHO (I missed ordering the Denso cushion option). It had a 14mm seal on the bottom with the black plastic retainer holding it from falling... You can sorta see it through the plastic. If I wanted to make the injector shorter and use it as a drop in for a Subaru, I could remove the top hat and put on an 11mm seal up top.
I cut the plastic off and was able to use a Denso cusion:
My STi using a T1 top feed conversion rail setup used 2 O-rings and left the retainer in place because it sticks into the opening.
Typical Subaru drop-in when they already are top feed injectors (bottom plastic removed, Denso cushion put on):
It's all in how you configure the injector. The S2000 application seems to use a washer and two seals, from what I remember. Having put some STi injectors into my S2000, I'm not sure the extra seal and washer is absolutely needed. All I did was use a new factory lower and upper seals on the injector.
