Importing from the US, procedure?
I'm thinking of getting a used S2000 from the US, but what's the procedure? Is it troublesome to do it? And what about the insurance?

Step 2. Purchase the car of your choice
Step 3. Pay all appropriate duty & taxes (see Step 1.)
Step 4. Prepare your car for DRL inspection (see Step 1.)
Step 5. License plate & Provincial Sales Tax (see Step 1.)
Step 6. Enjoy...
The key is to do your homework. The www.riv.ca website will provide all of the current rules and regulations and give you an overview of what to expect at the border crossing.
Your insurance company can provide coverage pending inspection of the vehicle once you have imported the car into Canada.
The toughest part about buying a used car from the U.S. is to get the "Recall Clearance Letter". This should not be a problem if you are purchasing from a Honda Dealer.
