In fact if my family was like you I would never have had the chance to ride around the old street course in Watkins Glen just this September AT SPEED in this; my grandfather's 1949 MG TC racecar.
umm, but you DID get rid of it.

Although that is true, the point was we held onto it from 1951 to 1994...and bonded to it.

car looks hot but its too much a toy car IMO.

for that price, there are many better options, again to each of his own.

Agreed, however my next track car is going to go in a direction that it seems most manufacturer other than Lotus are doing - going light weight. Colin Chapman created Lotus and the man was extraordinary, and it is nice to see modern day Lotus still sees his vision and is continuing to go for it.

A sad example of what happens to most great track cars over time
'88 E30 M3, Curb Weight 2,867 lbs.
'95 E36 M3, Curb Weight 3,175 lbs.
'05 E46 M3, Curb Weight 3,781 lbs.

as a track only car, this probably can't be beat. weight is the enemy, and i believe the performance numbers are pretty incredible.

but it is kind of ugly...it almost looks dated to my eye.
