That thing looks slick. What I remember of the Elise when I was in Scotland is how low they were to the ground.
They should sell a few of them in the US that's for sure!

Yeah - Im with Nimesh - thats a good chunk more dough for the car over an Elise.
This car looks better than the Elise, but its still FUGLY to me.
I dont understand why its more dough either.....
I bet its a riot and I bet you forget how uggo it is once your ripping around the track in one...I wonder if I can stack cars in my garage
Id go with the new Z06.......that car is just incredible...There is one in TO BTW.

you guys don't think 50K is steep for a relatively "track only" car?
for 15K more, you can have a Z06....which is an actual livable daily driver.

As far as getting a Z06 for 15k more - no way. Although it will have a lot more power it will weigh basically twice as much as the Lotus because it is over 3,000 pounds.
Different people, different strokes; for me light weight is what makes a car fun on the track.

For me the days of tracking a convertible are severly limited. As of right now I'm able to drive within my chapter of BMW CCA because I'm an instructor, and I can also attend the SCDA schools, but I fear these days are limited! There are tracks I want to go to, and I can't get in.
When I replaced the CRX-SiR my objective was rear wheel drive. When I replace the S2000 the objective will be hardtop/coupe. Therefore although the Exige is more money, saving money and then not being able to get into a school seems like a bad approach when it comes to buying a track car...
