I painted my calipers.
It seemed like a good way to keep busy, so while I was changing the tires from non-winter to winter I sanded and painted the calipers black. I dunno why this deserves a post, other than I goddamn feel like it
I started spraying liquid wrench on my exhaust bolts so I can swap it in the next couple days, so I figure a little early lube shouldn't hurt.
Does anybody besides Ron (sorry buddy ) have any summer wheels they're lookin to get rid of? I figure the spring will be a good time to try out something new since I'll have a couple sets of AP1 wheels for winter and track tires, so something else for the street would do nice.

Of course I didn't use good heat paint! That would be the well-planned, most effective approach to it.
I used the Tremclad Rustoleum paint I had sittin on the shelf Looks good though...for now. I used what was left of one can on the rears, and part of a new can on the fronts and apparently something was mislabelled because the rears appear glossy while the fronts are matte. At least they match left to right.

I remember a BMW guy who used regular paint to do his calipers. I laighed my butt off when he got black flagged at the track because his calipers were on fire...
