It did that orignally and it was not good enough for me. Then again I like a bit of bass. No matter how good your 2 door speakers are amped or not, installing the 2 speakers in the rear will make your system sound better. Now these are 2 freebie speakers that you dont have to pay anything for and all it costs is a bit of work to have them installed in the back of your seats. Getting a Stealth box or customizing one and have everything running on the right frequencies will also hlep a great deal. IF you go the sub route, I really also recomend a Head unit that has a Sub-volume control so you can change the bass volume at your finger tips.

oem speakers are crap ^^

I am more than happy for now with my headunit powering my two mtx 6.5s.

The sound is very sharp, mids and highs are great(4 tweeters now) and the bass is there and pronounced aswell.

how is the sound when on the highway? for me, the stock speakers are very poor (signal/noise)

Hey Guys
Great timming on this one as I am trying to figure out what to do about my tunes
What kind of head unit do you have?
I looked at a couple of shops, they have been pushing Kenwood, with Hertz speakers/amp... the price $2500 + tax installed...
Anyone wanna recommend a shop out in the west end, ie Burlington/Oakville etc
