how would a high flow magnaflow cat sound
im thinking of removing my stock cat and getting a high flow magnaflow cat installed... and was wondering what difference it would make performance wise and sound.

I don't think you can just install a magnaflow cat, you will need to weld flanges on it.
Basically Berk's HFC is a Mangnaflow metallic cat and he welded on flanges.

Random Technologies makes universal and application-specific high flow cats. They work well.
Exhaust stuff in general isnt going to give you much HP, so run what makes sense for you (size, sound, cost, looks, etc.). If you have headers and a 3" inch exhaust it probably makes sense to gut the cat... otherwise not much point (imo). A high-flow cat will be louder than stock. Are you trying to make more "bahhhhh"? Personly , I love the bahhhhh. I eat the bahhhhhh.

For those of you running TP, you're not worried of getting in shiet for it? It's a pretty hefty fine...
